About Russ Devan

I have been photographing pretty much anything that has caught my eye for over 25 years, but I specialize in landscapes, portraits, and glamour. My cameras of choice are a Nikon D200 and D70 digital SLRs with Nikkor lenses and a Gitzo basalt-composite tripod. I owe my initial enthusiasm for photography to the great landscape master, Ansel Adams, but also draw inspiration from such greats as Galen Rowell, Jim Brandenburg, Nathan Farb, Craig Blacklock and David Muench. In recent years, I have expanded my photographic horizons to include portraiture and glamour photography, which I create in my home studio and on location.
