Reeds, Marsh Creek Lake

Posted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 9 February 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This is an image that was made this past November during a morning shoot at Marsh Creek State Park. I almost didn't process or post this image as a pretty good sized lens flare was present in the photograph that I didn't notice until after the image was downloaded from the camera. After playing with it a bit in CS2, I was able to reduce it to an acceptable level that was suitable for posting (although I can still find it). I'm not sure how well it will look when printed though. Enjoy.

Thanks for stopping by.

"The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

This is so "zen like". It's such a calming image. Just beautiful.

This has that wonderful quiet quality that makes me take a deep breath followed by a relaxed sigh. Lovely color palette.
