Gabriella in Black & White

This is an image from a glamour portrait session that I shot not too long ago. Gabriella is a mother of 3 who models part time. The images from our shoot will be used to supplement her "book" or modeling portfolio. During the session, I wanted to try a different background besides the standard seamless that I use, so I asked Gabby to take a seat on the steps next to the studio. This was lit very simply with a single flash diffused through a shoot-thru umbrella. Some photoshop was used to remove some skin blemishes and the stencil painted on the wall behind her.
