Kipp Mountain From Loon LakePosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 2 April 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Betsy Barron from Glenmoore, United StatesWOW WOW WOW! amazing light! will you post your EXIF info? would love to be able to see your camera settings.... 2 Apr 2008 2:07pm @Betsy Barron: Thank you, Bets. I appreciate it. I don't know why AM3 didn't post the EXIF data for this image. I'm wondering if Photoshop stripped it off when I reduced the file and resolution for web posting (I know PS does that with copyright info that I embed in the image, which annoys me to no end!). Here's the EXIF data from the original image: shot with a Nikon D70 w/18-70 mm lens @ 18 mm; 1/8 sec @ f/20 @ ISO 200. A Cokin ND grad filter was used to reduce the light from the sky so I could expose for the water. Some distracting elements in the original scene were cloned out to simplify the composition, followed by curves and saturation adjustments and selective highlight adjustment. I hope that helps! Don Smith from Hollister, United StatesBeautiful image. Nice work with the composition. 2 Apr 2008 3:27pm p.tem from xanthi, Greecemaybe the best landscape photo ive ever seen. plain beauty. 2 Apr 2008 6:24pm danthro from Suburbia, United Statesgorgeous shot. love the colors, light and reflection. well done!! 2 Apr 2008 11:51pm dogilicious from Millerstown, PA, United StatesBeautiful framing with the boats in the lower corner.
