South Inlet of Raquette Lake, near Sagamore InnPosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 8 April 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This beautiful stream is called simply "South Inlet" and is one of the streams that feeds Raquette Lake, the fourth largest natural lake in the Adirondacks. This was taken near The Sagamore, an historic Adirondack Great Camp that is now an inn and education center. Thanks for stopping by. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Ryan from Brisbane, AustraliaI have been admiring some of your recent pics. They are stunning. It takes a special eye to capture landscapes well. Good work. 11 Apr 2008 7:10am @Ryan: Thanks, guy. I appreciate it. |
