Yellow Flag (Iris pseudacorus)

Posted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 28 April 2008 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

It's spring! So, here's my requisite flower photo. I'm not usually a big flower shooter, but I couldn't resist these. This was taken last spring and was one of the first photos I took when I got my D200. It's hard to believe that I've had that camera nearly a year already. Time flies when you're having fun. This was shot at a small park in Uwchlan Township where several of these flowers were growing beside a small ornamental pond.

Thanks for stopping by.

"The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."
