PoltergeistPosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 2 June 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. This is a series of old trestles at Lock Ridge Furnace. This image was exposed using a single flashlight as the light source using a technique called Painting With Light. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Betty from New Jersey, United StatesI think this is my favorite of the series, Russ! 2 Jun 2008 9:55am Judy Andrus Toporcer from Colton, United StatesThis is a great shot and a really cool use of flashlight painting. I love the texture and golden rich color. I think I would photoshop out the bright spot of light in the center (leave the "doorway" black). Fabulous photo, Russ! 2 Jun 2008 10:41am dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, United Statesgreat framing. love the texture of the decaying walls... love the title too. 2 Jun 2008 9:53pm Betsy Barron from Glenmoore, United StatesRD these keep getting better and better!!!!!!!
