We experienced some tremendous fog here in New Hanover in early June, immediately preceding an oppressively hot and humid day. This was taken very early that foggy morning at Deep Creek Lake in Green Lane Park. I hung around and photographed in the immediate area of this fisherman for close to half an hour. He was so mellow and relaxed that he either didn't notice that I was photographing him all that time or he just didn't give a damn. Either way, he barely moved a muscle the entire time while he patiently waited for fish to bite on his line that he had cast out in the lake. His bobber is at the lower right corner of the image and never twitched even once while I was there.

I love it, Russ! Neither the fisherman or the bobber moved for nearly 1/2 hour? He does look relaxed! Great shot!

What a fabulous shot, Russ. 'Perfection' may not be attainable, but you've come awfully close, and you have definitely caught 'excellence'.

Hey, I know this spot. He's probably just too hot to care. The last few days have been brutal.
