Take Only Photographs, Leave Only Footprints

...the basic premise of "Leave No Trace" outdoor activities. Photographed at Delaware Shores State Park. And nope, the image wasn't staged. I found this stick exactly as you see it here. Seconds later, a wave removed it for eternity. The sea always wins.

"The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Very nice Russ. I friend gave me a laser-cut stone with this inscription. True words - and you refe=lect them well here. Nice.

A great find and a really nice shot in B&W! I love to find pictures in the sand like this... and catch them before the waves get them. Well done, Russ.

Love this one.

I've never been to the Delaware beaches. The closest I've been is via the Cape May Ferry passing through Lewes on our way south. Maybe next summer.

"The sea always wins": i like those words, they are one verse. Now the poem has to be written :)
You found the photo, it was there for your decisive instant.
