Long-Horn Steer, Hopewell FurnacePosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 2 September 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. I encountered this amazing light while scouting potential locations for an upcoming portrait project near Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site. Hopewell Furnace is a restored 18th century iron-making community located in Berks and Chester Counties, about 30 minutes from New Hanover. I hope my US visitors had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend. I bet you all feel relieved now that the kids are back in school. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."
