My Corner of New Hanover
Ice Road

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope this year is a peaceful, joyous, and prosperous one for you all.
This is an old farm field, not far from my home in New Hanover, just after an ice storm a few weeks ago.

This is beautiful. I love the way the road curves through the frame. It's pretty cool that the road is unspoiled by foot prints too.
I love when you walk alone along the crusty surface you can hear nothing but the sound of your feet crunching in the ice and snow. It is somehow so peaceful.
