Ready to HuntPosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 7 January 2009 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio. On New Year's Day, I had the opportunity to photograph a fox hunt near Unionville, Chester County, with some friends from the Chester County Camera Club. Being a dog lover, my favorite part was, of course, the foxhounds. As I kneeled on the ground trying to get a "dog's-eye" view of the scene, a few of the friendly pooches wondered over to me to say hello. It was bitterly cold and windy, but an interesting experience to say the least. You can view a small gallery of additional images by clicking here. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."
