Crisscross

I thought I would shake things up a little bit with something a bit different from what I normally shoot. This is the roof above the courtyard of the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC. I recently made a day-trip to the Smithsonian to take in the Ansel Adams/Georgia O'Keefe exhibit with some friends from the Chester County Camera Club.

"The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Love the grid pattern with that classic architecture. It cast really interesting shadows. So was it awesome?

Fantastic pattern shot - I love the softness of the cold hard metal edges and the trees - it brings a whole new feel to the shot
