FrozenPosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 31 January 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. I shot this along the shores of Unami Creek early one morning a few weeks ago during a camping trip. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesThe silky reflections on the ice are wonderful. We have a park in town with the same name but I don't think it has any creeks running through it, just playgrounds and ball fields. 31 Jan 2009 5:58am Betty from New Jersey, United StatesThe reflections are wonderful... but so is the light! 31 Jan 2009 11:17am PShorten from West Chester, United StatesI love this photo, the light is great and the tree trunks lead my eye around the picture. Is there anyway to straighten the "horizon" line of the far bank? I think that would strenghten this picture. 31 Jan 2009 1:54pm Suzanne from Huntington Bch, California, United StatesThe pinkish reflection in the water/ice gives it a beautiful metallic quality. Nice composition and tonality. 3 Feb 2009 5:10am |
