Marsh Creek Sunrise IIPosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 16 April 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture and Portfolio. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesAbsolutely gorgeous. Incredible reflections. 16 Apr 2009 5:22am Tony Duque from Raleigh, United StatesThat's simply a wonderful shot, Russ! What I like most is the composition... seeing in the water the deeper blues in the sky which we can't see in the portion of the sky in the frame. Really a great effect. The colors are dead-on, too... picking up that hint of mauve isn't always easy. Thanks so much for sharing your terrific picture with us!! 16 Apr 2009 3:39pm Suzanne from Huntington Bch, California, United StatesExquisite landscape. I especially like how you emphasized the reflection...excellent composition. 16 Apr 2009 4:24pm Didier DE ZAN from somewhere, FranceWonderful Shot very beautiful colors and reflection 16 Apr 2009 6:35pm Dan Creighton from Pottstown, United StatesStill pretty. Love a sunrise over water! 16 Apr 2009 7:53pm DarkElf from Perth, Australiai really like this composition - it was a good idea to give a lot more space to the reflection and still surface fo the water! lovely mood and light - excellent work! 17 Apr 2009 3:15am Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesJust beautiful Russ. The glass like surface of the water adds a wonderful dimension with those reflections. It looks like there is just a hint of mist to add to the magic. 17 Apr 2009 1:20pm Betsy Barron from Chester Springs, PA, United Statesway sweet RD - love the pink sky reflected in the water - clone out the dirt at the lower left!! :) 17 Apr 2009 9:21pm |
