Fisherman, Lehigh River

Posted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 26 May 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Glen Onoko Run flows into the Lehigh River at the bottom of Lehigh Gorge, just to the right of where this was taken. This concludes the series on Glen Onoko Run. Thanks for visiting.

"The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

I'd love to see this monotone - maybe sepia - great shot, so much to look at

@Betsy Barron: Hmmm....perhaps. I think most of the tones in this image are similar so I think it would make for a very flat and low-contrast image, Bets.

Loved the series. I think Betsy has an interesting idea...but the contrast may need a boost like you said the tonal range is so limited it would be a challenge.
