Evening Fog

Posted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 29 May 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

This was shot Sunday evening as I was returning from a walk. Some ground fog was quickly developing in some low-lying areas, which was illuminated by lights from nearby businesses and the Jr. High School in the distance. The moon was actually a crescent when I took this. But, because of the long exposure, it moved just enough to give the illusion of a full moon.

"The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Beautiful! I don't see this phenomena too often. When I do it is usually on the rare occasions when I did not take my camera or I am in too much of a hurry to stop. One day, perhaps one day!
