Nice effect. How'd you do it?

@Monte Stevens: This was largely accomplished by reducing the saturation of the image. My favorite way to do that is to first convert the image to black and white using the channel mixer and adjust the color channels to my liking, just as if the image was going to be fully monochrome. Then I adjust the opacity of the layer so that some of the color comes through. Finally, I added a blur layer with the opacity adjusted to about 50 percent.
