Searching for DinnerPosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 16 September 2009 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio. A Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipies), pauses on a rock at the edge of the Susquehanna River, near Conowingo Dam, as it searches for food. Thanks to Dan Creighton for identifying this bird for me. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Marilla from Turku, FinlandGood shot, good composition! I'm really bad in identifying birds, butterflies and insects but it's fun to take photos of them. 16 Sep 2009 6:55am Chris from South Jersey, United Statesgreat composition and processing - he has his eye out looking for dinner..... 16 Sep 2009 7:37pm Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesBeautiful.
