Milkweed Plants, Valley Forge National ParkPosted by Russ Devan (New Hanover, United States) on 3 October 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. "The Master in the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both."

Dan Creighton from Pottstown, United StatesVery cool Russ. Love seeing this different view of an area I know super well. Similar in composition to your earlier image with the trees at the top but a totally different feeling with the balance of foreground vs sky in this. I like the subtle patterns of the milkweed. 3 Oct 2009 2:42pm Chris from South Jersey, United StatesI like the trees in silhouette at the top of the picture against that wonderful sky.....really has a fall feeling.... 3 Oct 2009 3:57pm Stephen Phillips from San Francisco, United StatesA lovely mood to this one, Russ - I love the light and low angle - bringing drama against the far trees and sky. 3 Oct 2009 6:38pm Betsy Barron from Chester Springs, PA, United StatesI love this, RD - the line up of the trees along the horizon, the staggered milkweed, soft light - works for me! 7 Oct 2009 12:00pm |
