About Russ Devan

I have been photographing pretty much anything that has caught my eye for many years, but I specialize in landscapes, portraits, and glamour. My present camera of choice is a Nikon D700 digital SLR with Nikkor lenses and a Gitzo basalt-composite tripod. I owe my initial enthusiasm for photography to the great landscape master, Ansel Adams, but also draw inspiration from such greats as Galen Rowell, Jim Brandenburg, Nathan Farb, Craig Blacklock and David Muench. In recent years, I have expanded my photographic horizons to include portraiture and glamour photography, which I create in my home studio and on location. I welcome your comments and critiques on my photographs. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
